Student-Centered Support
The vision of Kaimuki Middle School is to be “a place with heart that challenges and strengthens the mind, body, and spirit”. One way we cultivate this vision is through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) for students.
MTSS is based around a school culture that positively supports relationships, well being, and success – with the goal of helping every child thrive in school. It includes universal screening of all students, multiple tiers of behavioral and academic support services when needed, and an integrated data collection process to help us make the best decisions for student success.
